## Fractions to decimals worksheets

This worksheet asks the student to convert a number written as a fraction into a decimals. Fractions can be written simply (eg. 23), as a mixed fraction (eg. 323) or an improper fraction (eg. 53).

Worksheets can contain one or a mixture of these problem types. (On the answer sheet, where necessary, the answers are rounded to 3 places maximum).

In case you've forgotten:

• The numerator is the number at the top of the fraction.
• The denominator is the number at the bottom of the fraction.
• An improper fraction is one where the numerator is greater than the denominator.
• Improper fractions can also called top heavy fractions.
• A mixed fraction is one with that has a whole number in front of it.
