There are a couple of simple steps we need to follow to find out the percentage change between the two numbers. Let's say we want to work out the percentage difference from 50 to 100. First, we deduct 50 from 100:

100 - 50 = 50

Next, we divide the answer, 50, by the original 50:

50 ÷ 50 = 1

Finally, to make it a percentage, we multiply 1 by 100:

1 × 100 = 100%
