These worksheets don’t need much explanation - they just ask questions like “What is 1⁄2 of 12?”
In case you've forgotten:
- The numerator is the number at the top of the fraction.
- The denominator is the number at the bottom of the fraction.
These are simple fractions, because the numerator on the fraction will always be ‘1’. For instance, what is 1⁄2, 1⁄3, 1⁄4, 1⁄5, 1⁄6... of a given number.

These are more difficult because the numerator can be any number. For instance, what is 2⁄5, 3⁄8, 9⁄10... of a given number.
