- The denominator is the number at the bottom of the fraction.

These are simple fractions, because the numerator on the fraction will always be ‘1’. For instance, what is ^{1}⁄_{2}, ^{1}⁄_{3}, ^{1}⁄_{4}, ^{1}⁄_{5}, ^{1}⁄_{6}... of a given number.
