In case you've forgotten:
- The numerator is the number at the top of the fraction.
- The denominator is the number at the bottom of the fraction.
Simple Fractions
These are simple fractions, because the numerator on the fraction will always be ‘1’. For instance, what is 1⁄2, 1⁄3, 1⁄4, 1⁄5, 1⁄6... of a given number.
